JOB SUMMARY


The HSE Assistant will be responsible for ensuring safe and healthy workplace in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


JOB DESCRIPTION



  • Conduct activities that promote safety

  • Attend HSE meetings and report such meeting to the HSE Officer .

  • Very that first-aid and emergency procedures are in place.

  • Conduct safety inspection and pre-departure assessment for trucks; make incident records and reports to HSE Officer & Transport Dept

  • Assist in the coordination of orientations and HSE training.

  • Report all hazards to the HSE Officer

  • Review and monitor emergency procedures.

  • Conduct unscheduled and scheduled inspections of word area.

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and disposal of hazardous substances, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

  • Encourage hazard identification and reporting by all employees.

  • Maintain and update HSE Notice boards.

  • Investigate accidents and advise preventive measures.

  • Participate in any investigation relating to HSE issues.

  • Distribute materials on HSE education, promotion and awareness.


JOB EXPERIENCE


Educational Requirements  



  • Bachelor's/HND degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.


Professional Requirements



  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, HSE 1,2&3) is highly desirable.


Experience Requirements



  • Proven minimum of 1-3 year
