Job Description




  • Supervise and oversee the accounting department

  • Preparation of management accounts and overseeing financial planning

  • Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status

  • Provision of technical support and advice to the management for decision making.

  • Supporting the external auditors and tax consultants

  • Management of assets, receivables, payables, revenue and expenses entries

  • Reconciliation, maintenance, balancing of postings & transactions and resolving of discrepancies.

  • Prompt review and reconciliation of invoices of suppliers, contractors or vendors with their accounts

  • Processing of payments and financial transactions of suppliers, contractors or vendors

  • Maintain and review of aging analysis for prompt settlement and payments.

  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors or vendors for regular reconciliation.

  • Assist in dialing posting of transactions.

  • Processing of invoices and identifying financial records for record maintenance purpose.

  • Reviewing payments, processing and verifying to ensure control of expenses and complete payment.

  • Dealing with banks.

  • Leasing with external auditors during financial audit exercise.

  • Reconciliation of the various bank accounts in a timely manner throughout the month.

  • Identifying errors and provide explanations for the difference after review.

  • Comparism of deposits with cash account.

  • Supported staff development and goal attainment by focusing on skill development and job satisfaction.

  • Set and enhanced policies focused on increasing team productivity and strengthening operational efficiency


Requirements:  



  • BSC/HND in Accounting or Finance

  • 4-5 Years Relevant work Exeperience

  • Candidate must reside within Agbara and it Environment


SKILLS:



  • Data Analysis.

  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft office suite and accounting software.

  • Cost accounting and control skills.

  • Report writing skills.
