Key Responsibilities



  • Operate and monitor chiller equipment to maintain required temperatures in production and storage areas.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of chillers to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

  • Monitor and adjust chiller settings to meet production requirements while maximizing energy efficiency.

  • Monitor refrigerant levels and perform routine checks to ensure proper functioning of the chiller system.

  • Respond promptly to any chiller alarms or malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.

  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers for repairs and maintenance tasks beyond the scope of regular operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of chiller operation, maintenance activities, and temperature logs.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.


Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical Certification or Diploma in Refrigeration or HVAC Systems preferred.

  • Proven experience working as a chiller operator or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of chiller operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems, temperature controls, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous operation of chillers.
