Job Description



Mission:



  • Support the implementation of the Value-Based Capital Allocation (VBCA) strategy, ensuring alignment with Ambition 2025 and harmonization of capital expenditure with MTNN's strategic objectives.


Description:



  • Develop high-level business cases aligned with VBCA for the top contributing projects and programs.

  • Prepare detailed business cases for key growth projects.

  • Track progress and report on key projects monthly for the purpose of post-implementation reports and comprehensive post-implementation reviews.

  • Support the management of the Capex Prioritization Tool, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and aligning final budgets based on committee feedback.

  • Monitor adherence to Capex guidelines and policies (early capex and roll-forward guidelines; savings and reallocation guidelines; additional capex policies).

  • Review and evaluate trends in telecom technology markets and drive the allocation of scarce capital resources to viable projects.

  • Monitor CapEx performance against targets and KPIs, facilitating quarterly reviews and approvals.

  • Develop and manage a process that drives information dissemination with finance and capex teams.

  • Ensure deadlines for the submission of reports are met.

  • Ensure data is received in a timely manner from all stakeholders.

  • Ensure all data is validated for accuracy.


Education:



  • First degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Fluent in English 

  • ICAN, ACCA or related discipline


Experience:


3–7 years’ experience, which includes



  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance-related area of specialization;

  • Experience working in a medium organization.

  • Experience in capital allocation, financial planning and analysis.
