Job Description
- As a Creative designer, you will be responsible for all creative content utilized at touch points.
- This will include web designs, still designs, capturing and editing video content to produce visually stunning and engaging materials.
- From creative concept to final product, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual identity and storytelling approach.
- This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative vision, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize graphic designs, video projects and develop production plans.
- Execute visual solutions that communicate ideas, concepts, or messages effectively.
- Understand client's needs, target audience, and project objectives, then using artistic design and technical skills to design compelling graphics, layouts, and other visual elements.
- Work on a variety of projects such as branding, advertising, web design, product packaging, and more, aiming to create visually appealing and impactful designs that meet the client's goals and resonate with our audience.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and software to continuously improve craft and deliver innovative solutions.
Videography:
- Create high-quality video content that effectively communicates the organization's message, brand, or objectives. This involves planning, filming, editing, and producing videos for various purposes such as marketing, training, internal communications, events coverage, and more.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and requirements, then translate them into compelling visual stories through video.
- Must possess technical skills in operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, as well as proficiency in video editing software to ensure the final product meets professional standards.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as content creators, marketers, and designers, to align video content with broader organizational strategies and initiatives.
Asset Management:
- Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and archives for easy access and retrieval.
- Ensure all graphics design and video content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.
Learning:
- Experiment with new equipment, shooting techniques, and editing styles to push creative boundaries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continually improve skills and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of BSc. in any discipline, preferably Marketing, English, or Journalism.
- 3+ Years’ Experience in graphics design, web design and videography/editing.
- Proven experience as a creative graphics design, videographer, and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic and video projects.
- Excellent storytelling skills and attention to detail, with the ability to convey emotions and narratives through visuals.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, in-design, Coral draw, video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Aftereffects, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Solid understanding of designs, cinematography principles, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to use design tools, operate professional video cameras, audio recording equipment, and lighting setups.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
