Job Description
Reports to: Lead Engineer
Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems.
- Design, supply, install, configure and carry out maintenance on all types of solar systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotes where necessary.
- Document installations and technical activities by taking pictures and videos, completing forms, reports, logs, records, etc.
- Test and fix faulty equipment or otherwise recommend solutions to fix the issues.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate system improvements.
- Keep stock of the company’s installation tools and ensure they are well maintained.
- Carry out regular research on new industry trends and suggest improvements that can be adopted by the company.
- Design schematics, line diagrams, and CAD designs as required by the project at hand.
- Develop standard operation procedures and safety standards for solar installation work.
- Analyze costs and benefits of proposed designs or projects.
- Prepare detailed work execution plans for projects from the assessment stage to the job completion stage.
- Write periodic technical reports.
- Respond to trouble callouts, emergencies and attend to complaints from clients regarding technical problems in their installation.
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by your superiors and the company’s management
Skills & Requirements
- Prospective candidates must possess a B.Sc or HND
- A minimum of 2 years of trackable work experience.
- Proficiency with the use of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with installing Inverters and Solar panels, and strong knowledge of solar-powered systems.
Salary
N90,000 / Month.
