Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Prepare raw doughnuts for frying and bread dough for baking.

  • Prepare artisan pastries, bagels, muffins and cookies daily.

  • Bake various bread varieties and fry and prepare various varieties of donuts.

  • Make fresh pastries every morning including; bagels, cookies, brownies, etc.

  • Assist customers with various requests and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through utilization of communication and personal interaction skills.

  • Understand proper use of ovens, mixers, scales, and rotating product in walk-in/freezer using FIFO methods.

  • Help set up a par list for inventory that way less products are wasted and used FIFO method to ensure that.

  • Complete daily production records on raw and finished products

  • Ensure daily task is achieved and delivered.

  • Keep all tools clean and safe

  • Ensure CAYGO at all times

  • Teach and train the other cooking staff.

  • Any other duties assigned by the management.


Qualifications



  • Interested candidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate with at least 2 years experience.
