Responsibilities

• Work closely with the laboratory manager and procurement team to order and receive lab consumables and equipment.


• Verification, inspection, and acceptance of all requested items as they arrive and check quality and conformity against documentation.


• Liaise with the project manager in checking expenditure within project budgets.


• Liaise with the audit team to cite and verify purchase orders, invoices, delivery


• notes with the number of items supplied.


• Liaise with external logistics and shipping agents and for shipment, clearing and delivery of items.


• Regularly monitor inventory levels and needs to forecasting upcoming levels of demands.


• Manage the replenishment of supplies through a systematic manner considering lead time, consumption and minimum supply levels.


• Manage overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement.


• Develop supplier databases and establish annual purchasing contracts for items.


• Catalog laboratory equipment assets and organize maintenance and certification visits.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 2-4 years experience.
