Role Summary:

As an Oncologist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer patients, providing compassionate care and support throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and stage cancer using various diagnostic techniques such as biopsies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests.


• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific cancer type and stage.


• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and other cancer treatments as appropriate.


• Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.


• Provide supportive care to manage cancer-related symptoms and side effects.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, and nurses to provide comprehensive cancer care.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.


• Residency training in Oncology.


• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.


• Board certification or eligibility in Oncology.


• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating cancer patients.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
