Role Summary:


As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders, providing respiratory support and education to optimize patient outcomes.


Responsibilities:



  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation.

  • Monitor patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

  • Valid license or certification as a Respiratory Therapist.

  • Proven experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.

  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
