Role Summary:

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe and sterile.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.


• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies.


• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure to prevent infection.


• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as required.


• Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation.


• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments after each procedure.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Surgical Technology or related field.


• Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.


• Proven experience working as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting.


• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
