Role Summary:


As a Psychiatrist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health disorders, providing compassionate care and support to patients experiencing psychiatric symptoms.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.

  • Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care as necessary.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and nurses to coordinate patient care and treatment goals.

  • Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness and advocacy.


Requirements:



  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.

  • Residency training in Psychiatry.

  • Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.

  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
