Role Summary:

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to them.


• Position patients correctly on the imaging equipment to obtain clear and accurate images.


• Operate X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other medical imaging equipment according to established protocols.


• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.


• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.


• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.


• Valid license or certification as a Medical Imaging Technologist.


• Proven experience operating medical imaging equipment in a healthcare setting.


• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
