DUTIES:

• Provide technical support on the implementation of ENSA cassava project research activities in Nigeria, with a focus on Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF)


• Assist with screen house and experimental field establishment, collection of field data, and processing of samples in the Laboratory for further analysis.


• Assist with the AMF priming of Cassava seedlings, efficacy trial design, and management in screen house and field conditions.


• Ensure trial troubleshooting and data collection


• Contribute to research on quality assurance


• Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:                        

• National diploma in Agriculture or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills.


• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


• Be computer literate and have the ability to use tables for data capture.
