Description 



  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst.

  • This pivotal role, based in our warehouse, is responsible for supporting both the finance and procurement teams.

  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience, and a proven track record in managing a large number of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units). This position requires a keen eye for numbers, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to contribute to effective financial forecasting.


Responsibilities

Vendor Relationship Management:



  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.

  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms to optimize supply chain efficiency.


Financial Analysis and Forecasting:



  • Work closely with the finance team to provide financial insights related to procurement activities.

  • Conduct cost analysis and contribute to the development of accurate financial forecasts.


Demand Planning:



  • Work closely with sales teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies accordingly.

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.


Cost-Benefit Analysis:



  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis on various procurement strategies and recommend adjustments for optimal financial outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the supply chain.


Data Analytics:



  • Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in procurement and finance activities.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators.


Continuous Process Improvement:



  • Lead initiatives to streamline and enhance supply chain processes, reducing lead times and improving overall efficiency.

  • Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse management.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with the finance team to align financial goals with procurement strategies.

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure seamless integration and communication across the supply chain.

  • Provide insights and support for cross-functional projects impacting the supply chain.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or supply chain role, preferably within a warehouse environment.

  • Proven experience in managing a large number of SKUs and conducting detailed financial analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
