- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst.
- This pivotal role, based in our warehouse, is responsible for supporting both the finance and procurement teams.
- The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience, and a proven track record in managing a large number of SKUs (Stock Keeping Units). This position requires a keen eye for numbers, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to contribute to effective financial forecasting.
Responsibilities
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
- Work closely with the finance team to provide financial insights related to procurement activities.
- Conduct cost analysis and contribute to the development of accurate financial forecasts.
Demand Planning:
- Work closely with sales teams to forecast demand and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Cost-Benefit Analysis:
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis on various procurement strategies and recommend adjustments for optimal financial outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the supply chain.
Data Analytics:
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in procurement and finance activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators.
Continuous Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline and enhance supply chain processes, reducing lead times and improving overall efficiency.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the finance team to align financial goals with procurement strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure seamless integration and communication across the supply chain.
- Provide insights and support for cross-functional projects impacting the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or supply chain role, preferably within a warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in managing a large number of SKUs and conducting detailed financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
