Job Description
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring that high-quality service is delivered to guests. Your role will involve supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining quality control standards. You will also be responsible for implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train food and beverage staff. Create work schedules and ensure that staff adhere to company policies and procedures. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Customer Service: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner. Work with the team to develop and maintain a positive guest experience.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Ensure that inventory is properly stored and accounted for. Minimize waste and control costs. Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverages meet quality and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly. Monitor cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to increase revenue. Control costs and maximize profitability. Prepare reports on financial performance and other key metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintain records and documentation as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends. Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
