Role Overview:

As the Head of Research, you will lead a team dedicated to tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key economic indicators, corporate financial data, and market trends. 

Responsibilities: 

• Compiling and analysing financial reports of corporate entities, which includes but not limited to Financial Seeding, Income Statement, and budget for publication 


• Tracking data releases from various regulators (NBS, CBN, DMO, etc.) and updating our database 


• Compile Macroeconomic Data, which includes Inflation Rate, Capital Importation, Foreign Trade, Balance of Payment, Government Debt, Money Supply, and Foreign Exchange Inflows 


• Writing research-based articles for publication on Nairametrics 


• Conducting market research surveys and compiling macroeconomic data 


• Collaborating with team members to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations 

Requirements: 

• A strong background in finance, economics, or related fields 


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial capital-related role or a research role


• Proven experience in conducting research and analysis 


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 


• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques 


• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 


• A keen eye for detail and a passion for uncovering insights
