About Our Client:

Role Summary:


As a Pediatric Nurse at our client's healthcare facility, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. You will collaborate with pediatricians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe and compassionate care.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform pediatric assessments and screenings to evaluate the health status of patients.

  • Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Monitor patients' vital signs, growth and development, and response to therapy, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

  • Provide education and support to patients and families on pediatric health issues, including nutrition, safety, and growth milestones.

  • Assist pediatricians and other healthcare providers with procedures and examinations, such as vaccinations, blood draws, and wound care.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.


Requirements:



  • Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

  • Valid nursing license to practice in Nigeria.

  • Specialized training or certification in pediatric nursing preferred.

  • Proven experience working as a Pediatric Nurse, preferably in a pediatric hospital or clinic setting.

  • Strong knowledge of pediatric health assessment, growth and development, and common childhood illnesses.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
