Role Summary:


As a Family Physician at our client's healthcare facility, you will be responsible for providing primary care services to patients of all ages, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions, and promoting health and wellness within the community.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine and patient preferences.

  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to facilitate patient care and management.

  • Provide preventive care and health education to patients and families, emphasizing lifestyle modifications and disease prevention strategies.

  • Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

  • Document patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record system.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and practice.


Requirements:



  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.

  • Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.

  • Board certification in Family Medicine or equivalent specialty.

  • Proven experience working as a Family Physician, preferably in a hospital or primary care setting.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
