Role Summary:


As an Endocrinologist at our client's healthcare facility, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances. You will work closely with patients to manage their conditions, optimize treatment plans, and improve overall health outcomes.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic tests to assess patients' endocrine health.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with endocrine disorders, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and hormone replacement therapy.

  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, dietitians, and nurse educators, to provide coordinated care for patients.

  • Stay updated on the latest research and advances in endocrinology to ensure evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.


Requirements:



  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Residency training in Endocrinology.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.

  • Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.

  • Proven experience working as an Endocrinologist, preferably in a hospital setting.

  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of endocrine disorders and treatments.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
