Job Responsibilities

• Computation of appropriate tax (PAYE, WHT, VAT, CIT, CGT etc.) payable and following up to ensure the taxes are paid and the returns filed within the due dates.


• Attending to tax queries and liaising with the various tax offices to avoid gaps and penalties.


• Regular review of all tax ledger accounts for accuracy.


• Proper documentation of all tax correspondences for future reference.


• Computation of capital allowances of the company and active subsidiaries.


• Timely processing of tax clearance certificates.

Job Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting or related field


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Tax Accountant in a consulting firm


• Must be a chartered accountant (ACA or ACCA)
