Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inoculator / Operator to join our team. The Inoculator / Operator will play a crucial role in our laboratory operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient inoculation of samples as per protocols and operating various equipment necessary for the process.


• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inoculation of samples according to established protocols and procedures.


• Operate and maintain equipment required for the inoculation process, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.


• Prepare and maintain accurate records of inoculation activities, including sample information, experimental conditions, and results.


• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the inoculation process, ensuring the timely resolution to minimize disruptions.


• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.


• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve efficiency in the laboratory.


• Assist in other laboratory tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably with experience in sample inoculation and operation of laboratory equipment.


• Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and procedures, including aseptic techniques and safety practices.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.


• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.


• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
