Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a persuasive and customer-oriented Assistant Head of Sales to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
- You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to upper management.
- The Assistant Head of Sales responsibilities include identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of sale with customers to close sales.
Job Responsibilities
- To lead the sales team to grow products volume, brand equity and market share that will lead to the profitability of the organisation.
- Achieving goals and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Set sales and marketing targets in line with business plan and monitor performance thereon.
- Ensure company image is protected and enhanced in all sales and marketing activities carried out within assigned territory.
- Identifying customers' needs and recommending company products that best fulfil those needs.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- 5-7 years relevant experience in Sales, Trade Marketing and FMCG
- Deep knowledge of Sales, Distribution and Logistics.
- Must be detail oriented with high level of analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional customer service and people management skills.
Renumeration
N3,000,000 / Annum plus Commission.
