Stephanie Nicholas Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance department in various accounting tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.


• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.


• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.


• Maintain and update financial records and databases.


• Prepare and submit tax documents, such as VAT returns and payroll taxes.


• Assist in conducting internal audits and compliance checks.


• Support month-end and year-end close processes.


• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.


• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role.


• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


• Familiarity with financial reporting standards.
