Job Description



  • The Retail Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, will support the Beauty & Wellness Supervisor in the day-to-day efficient running of the store, and ensure that the business delivers the best retail experience for customers every time.


Roles and Responsibilities

Advisory & Dispensing Services:



  • Counselling and educating patients on proper use of supplements and Nutriceuticals; What, When and How to take them, including expected side effects and how to mitigate them.

  • Packaging & Labeling Drugs/Supplements appropriately, under the supervision of the Pharmacist.


Customer Service:



  • Demonstrate proper use of Cosmetic and skin care products.

  • Cross-sell beauty products, when appropriate (e.g. serums, body lotions and supplements)

  • Identify customer needs and recommend Supplements and skin care products based on their preferences.

  • Help clients find products they’re looking for within the store as well as respond to customer online queries.

  • Provide appropriate Skincare and Wellness Advise to customers both in-store and online.

  • Keep up-to-date on Wellness, Skincare and Beauty trends.


Commercial Acumen:



  • Helping the store to grow its revenue and profitability

  • Handling the point-of- Sales (POS) system during your shift.

  • Reconciling of daily sales and Petty Cash

  • Treating customers with care and professionalism, to ensure they make Remediks their brand of choice.


Merchandizing:



  • Ensuring that the store maintains the right Look and Feel at all times, by keeping the space clean, organized and free of clutter.

  • Ensuring that shelves well stocked with the appropriate merchandize.

  • Checking expiry date of products on a regular basis and reporting to the Supervisor/Pharmacist.

  • Ensuring that all supplies needed for the smooth running of the store are available.

  • Adhering to the company’s SOPs and Quality Standards.


Qualifications



  • A minimum of OND or Higher

  • 2 - 6 years relevant work experience.

  • Previous experience in a Retail Pharmacy or Cosmetic Store setting is a MUST.

  • Additional qualifications or certifications in Aesthetics, Cosmetic Science or Nutrition will be an added advantage

Remuneration



  • Salary: N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 Annually.
