Job Description:


Our client is currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented individual to join their team as a Front Desk/Customer Service Representative for an eye clinic located on the island. In this role, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to patients, contributing to a seamless and positive experience.


Responsibilities:



  • Welcome patients and visitors warmly upon their arrival at the clinic.

  • Answer incoming calls and address inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general clinic information.

  • Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring proper coordination with doctors and staff.

  • Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and payment details accurately.

  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.

  • Provide guidance and support to patients in understanding pre-appointment instructions and post-appointment follow-up care.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including sanitization protocols.

  • Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any urgent concerns.

  • Handle patient complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy, seeking timely resolution.

  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or customer service is preferred.

  • Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff members.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing appointment schedules and patient records.

  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to assist patients in their healthcare journey.
