Job Description

• Consult with clients to understand their braiding needs, preferences, and hair condition to recommend suitable braiding styles.


• Prepare hair for braiding by washing, conditioning, and detangling to ensure a smooth braiding process.


• Section hair accurately to create uniform braids, ensuring each section is neatly parted and sized according to the desired braid style.


• Skillfully braid hair using various techniques such as box braids, cornrows, twists, and crochet braids, ensuring tightness and neatness while minimizing discomfort.


• Apply hair care products like oils, mousse, or sprays to maintain the health of the hair and enhance the appearance of the braids.


• Educate clients on how to care for their braids and maintain scalp health, providing tips on washing, moisturizing, and nightly protection.


• Sanitize all tools and workstations before and after each client to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
