Key Responsibilities / Skills / Knowledge
Successful candidate must be:
- Able sell and promote sales of trucks in line with all aspect dealership and manufacturer trading polices;
- Prepare to receive and process new customer enquires;
- Create and maintain a positive customer – friendly sales environment whilst taking responsibility for the day to day maintenance and presentation of the showroom;
- Guide and inform the customer whilst being able to give a competent and enthusiastic presentation of all the vehicles within the product range amongst others
- Promoting and selling heavyduty trucks
- Writing sales orders, securing deposits and processing paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies
- Accountable to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Developing and presenting sales proposals to client
- To attend and support customer events as and when required,
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
- Provide sales support, process customer stock orders
- Perform all other associated tasks assigned by management
Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of a First Degree in relevant field plus hands-on experience of about five (5) years in the sales of trucks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to motivate his/her sales team
- Proven truck and special vehicle sales professional experience;
- In-depth knowledge of the truck and special vehicle market.
- Strong sales and presentation skills;
- Analytical mind -ability to determine solution for customers;
- Excellent knowledge of fleet sales; good interpersonal skills;
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills, andownership approach.
