Job Brief



  • This position reports to the Sales Manager

  • The operations and distribution channels of a lottery business must be supervised and managed by the lottery business channel manager.

  • The channel manager works with numerous internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement efficient channel strategies that are in line with the overall business objectives to increase sales and market penetration.

  • Management of daily operations including sales, field operations, direct sales, channel optimization, customer service, product sales.

  • Identification, onboarding, and management of channel partners, including distributors, agents, and retailers.

  • To assure their success, develop trusting working connections and offer continual guidance and training.

  • Success in Meeting Sales Goals: Set channel partners' sales goals and keep a careful eye on their progress.

  • Create incentive plans and marketing initiatives to encourage and honor partners that surpass sales targets.

  • Conduct routine market analysis to spot trends, opportunities, and threats. This should include competitor and customer information. Use this knowledge to improve performance overall and channel tactics.

  • Product Distribution: Create and implement dependable and effective procedures for product distribution to enable prompt delivery to channel partners.

  • Educate partners and customers on product portfolio and other services offered.

  • Ensure that the company is always in full compliance of all provisions with regulatory body.

  • Create annual and periodic budgets for the department and ensure that and monitor and review actual costs versus budgeted costs.

  • Assist in achieving the financial objectives of the company by following guidelines established in profitability and pricing; review the team pipeline to determine the revenue expectations; develop strategies for increasing profitability and decreasing processing times.

  • Constantly review team performance and advice on follow-up or next steps

  • Liaise with all vendors associated with our products to ensure good performance.

  • Ensure we achieve full coverage of all the local governments and communities in Enugu.

  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures inclusive of following communication procedures, securing proprietary documents and expense report.

  • Complete any other assignments given by the company.


Skills and Experience:



  • Candidates should possess minimum of Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing or its equivalent with 3 - 5 years of cognitive marketing experience

  • Proven channel management expertise, ideally in the gambling or lottery sectors.

  • Strong business sense and comprehension of marketing and sales concepts.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to establish and uphold enduring bonds with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to understand facts and make judgments based on it. Analytical attitude.

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for the gaming or lottery industry.

  • Ability to fulfill deadlines and work under duress.

  • Proficient with the CRM program and the Microsoft Office package.

  • Being reliable and trustworthy with good interpersonal abilities

  • Having good concentration and knowledge about routes and geography.
