RESPONSIBILITIES


Regulation of Parking and Traffic



  • Regulate parking and traffic in the assigned lot, restricting unauthorized vehicles and allowing entry to authorized vehicles.


Collection of Parking Fees



  • Collect parking fees from customers based on charges for the amount of time parked or standard lot fees; issue receipts.


Transaction Management:



  • Enter transactions on the cash register or other approved means.


Reporting:


Report any issues that arise during duty to the supervisor.


Parking Space Management:



  • Count parked vehicles and reserve spaces for reservations; display a sign when the lot is full.


Customer Assistance:



  • Provide directions, suggest parking alternatives, and offer information upon request to vehicle owners.


Payment Verification:



  • Display proof of payment or other indications on parked vehicles.


Notification of Payment Due:



  • Place a written notice of payment due on the windshield of vehicles in the lot before and after attendant hours.


Lot Monitoring:



  • Monitor the assigned lot for all vehicles, ensuring proper parking and payment.


Permit Verification:



  • Check permits to verify authorization.


Requirements


Educational Qualifications:



  • Ability to read and write.

  • Qualifications that helps you perform effectively for this role


Physical Fitness:



  • Physically fit to work for extended hours.


Communication Skills:



  • Able to communicate effectively.


Attention to Detail:



  • Must be detail-oriented.


Knowledge:



  • Knowledge of Parking Regulations training to be done by company


Transparency:



  • Should be able to maintain high level of transparency with transactions and dealings.
