Overview



  • Cleaners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within various environments, including commercial buildings, residential properties, offices, hospitals, schools, and public spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors to remove dust, dirt, and debris.

  • Dusting and wiping surfaces, including desks, countertops, shelves, and furniture, to eliminate cobwebs and dirt.

  • Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated receptacles.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.

  • Refilling soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.

  • Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain transparency and cleanliness.

  • Washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and appliances.

  • Restocking supplies such as cleaning products, towels, and gloves.

  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers.

  • Following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals.

  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.

  • Adhering to cleaning schedules and completing tasks within specified time frames.

  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or requests from clients or occupants.

Skills and Qualifications



  • Candidates should possess an NCE qualification with 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.

  • Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.

  • Time management skills to complete cleaning duties within designated time frames.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
