Job Description
We are looking to hire an Operations Manager with a solid background managing operations within a hotel, thorough level of commercial awareness, someone that can build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for operations in all departments
- Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running the hotel
- Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive & serve the guests
- Conduct regular team meetings with all the HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters and sales targets
- Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks
- Monitor procurement / requisitions of each department/ accounts receivable/ accounts payable
- Inspect the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, restock levels, expiry etc)
- Dealing with Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Manager and providing performance assessment of vendors
- Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation.
- Inspecting all departments for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & a great hospitality culture
- Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations
- Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service processes
- Identifying staff learning needs and providing necessary training and development
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally
- Conduct weekly / daily meetings with the marketing department on strategies to push sales
- Monitor and maintain operational overhead costs in order to maintain maximum revenue for the hotel
- Responsible for the overall management of the hotel operations
- Any other duties as assigned by management
Requirement
- 6 years experience as operations lead/ manager in the hospitality space especially a hotel
- Excellent management skills
- Strong understanding of numbers and how to grow same
- Experience with budgeting, P&L's, forecasts
- Highly organized, focused, process and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Renumeration
