Our client is a civil/structural engineering consultancy firm that specializes in structural engineering consultancy, project management services and also structural assessment of buildings. Due to expansion, they are in need of a CIVIL ENGINEERING MODELER.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce 2D drawings and intelligent 3D models


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the site teams


• Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings, ensuring they meet company and industry standards and codes


• Work closely with Engineers, Designers and other Drafters to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HND in relevant field with 2-3 years of relevant experience.


• Experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.


• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.


• Desirable experience in, highways, drainage design, pressurized systems, and systems infrastructure.


• General professional qualities as accuracy, tenacity, result-oriented and teamwork oriented attitude, diplomacy,


• Practical experience in design, drafting (both in 2D and 3D) and/or construction.


• Autodesk Civil 3D knowledge and experience


• Knowledge of current 2D and 3D tools, especially Autodesk Civil 3D


• Ability to model with Prota, Revit and other engineering software's.


• Experienced in British and European Standards for civil works.
