Our client is an engineering consultancy firm that specializes in structural engineering consultancy and project management services. Due to expansion, they are currently looking to fill the role of a CIVIL/STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN.

Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D drawings and intelligent 3D models.


• Review, analyze and design civil/structural members both as a frame and as individual elements.


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the site teams.


• Ability to model, analyze and design structural elements using engineering software such as PROKON, CADRC, STAAD PRO, PROTA, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience.


• A master’s degree in Highway or Structures will be an advantage


• Excellent knowledge of structural detailing and visualization software such    as Auto  CAD and or REVIT.


• Experience in British and European Standards for civil works.


• Desirable experience in highways, drainage design, pressurized systems, and systems infrastructure.


• Practical experience in design, drafting (both in 2D and 3D) and/or construction.


• Autodesk Civil 3D knowledge and experience is an added advantage.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Project etc.
