What you’ll be doing

• We are experiencing hyper-growth. In 2023, our headcount tripled and expansion to 5,000 employees is already on the horizon. Critical to our success is the ability to optimize our hiring engine to deal with our required volumes whilst maintaining our quality bar.


• As the originator of this role your purpose is to drive growth through Market Intelligence excellence by setting up and leading Hugo’s first dedicated MI Team, bringing to bear the wealth of your expertise to deliver innovative solutions.


• You will own our MI strategy and oversee its execution. This includes but is not limited to designing and implementing strategies, coaching a specialist Analyst team, applying technology smartly, and generating market and customer insights and reporting.

What success in this role looks like

• Short-Term - Lead market intelligence activities and take ownership of our inhouse market intelligence platform and deliverables


• Medium-Term Goals - Coach and develop your newly hired team to market intelligence success


• Long-Term Goals - Create company-wide impact by empowering cross-functional teams with market intelligence insights to drive key business outcomes such as revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction improvements.
