Job Description

• We are looking for a Plant Manager (Nigerian or Expatriate) to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all our equipment’s.

Responsibilities

• Keep an accurate inventory of all owned equipment, their condition, and usage.


• Conduct relevant cost-benefit rent vs. buy analyses considering various factors,


• Analyze project timelines and workloads to determine the optimal duration and frequency of equipment use


• Stay informed about purchasing and rental options, pricing structures, and industry trends,


• Collaborate with project manager to forecast equipment needs for upcoming projects, and


• help management and accounting determine equipment budgets and rates for owned and potentially purchased/rented equipment.


• Monitor equipment-related inventory (spare parts, accessories, and other supplies).


• Track regular maintenance and repairs when the need arises.


• Commit to plant safety procedures


• Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years experience


• Proven experience as Plant /Maintenance manager with at least 10 years of experience.


• Experience in planning maintenance operations


• Solid understanding of technical aspects of construction.


• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment


• Ability to keep track of and report on activity


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
