Role Summary:


As a Pharmacist at our client's pharmaceutical company, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. You will play a key role in promoting medication adherence, educating patients about their medications, and delivering exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:



  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following regulatory guidelines and best practices.

  • Provide medication counseling to patients, explaining dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and address patient concerns or questions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records, including medication histories and allergies.

  • Monitor medication inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure availability of pharmaceutical products.

  • Participate in medication therapy management programs, medication reviews, and adherence monitoring initiatives.

  • Adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures regarding medication storage, handling, and disposal.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

  • Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.

  • Proven experience working as a Pharmacist, preferably in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
