Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients in need of special risk insurance coverage.


• Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to stay informed about the special risk insurance landscape.


• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients within the special risk insurance segment.


• Identify and approach prospects through various channels, including networking events, referrals, cold calling, and digital marketing.


• Gain in-depth knowledge of special risk insurance products and services offered by the company.


• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, highlighting the features, benefits, and coverage options of specialized insurance policies.


• Liaise with underwriters to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage limits for special risk insurance policies.


• Coordinate with claims professionals to ensure timely and efficient claims handling and resolution.


• Track and report sales performance metrics, including client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.


• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic expansion.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Marketing or any related field.


• CIIN certification would be an added advantage.


• 5 - 10 years experience in Marketing Insurance products (at least 4 years in special risks marketing, bid packaging) etc.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite.
