Qualifications:



  • B.Pharm degree from a reputable institution, additional clinical degree will be an advantage


Technical/Professional Experience:



  • 2-3 years’ work experience in community pharmacy practice

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

  • Sales driven

  • Team player

  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong Microsoft office skills (i.e. Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and data analysis skills.


Description



  • Dispense medicines and nutritional supplements

  • Counsel on medicine use, disease conditions management and preventive methods

  • Supervise Health Care Assistants

  • Create awareness of the Pharmacy’s products and services in the community

  • Interpretation of prescription and dispensing of drugs accurately and according to the laws and ethics of the profession-

  • Ensure proper stock monitoring.

  • Verification of goods supplied for authenticity, quality, integrity and expiry date.

  • Rotation of stock using “FEFO” principle.

  • Team up with the Branch Manager to liaise with the Procurement Manager/Warehouse Manager for efficient and effective drug supply.

  • Maintaining an up-to-date customer database, chronic care medication patient list and knowledge of regular customers.

  • Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently following the companys policy and ensure the Branch Manager and Regional Manager are updated on developments in the store.

  • Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all paperwork, especially validation and reconciliation.
