• Salary Range ₦50,000 - ₦100,000/month
  

JOB DUTIES:

• Plan, review, and revise content for publication.


• Read content and correct spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.


• Rewrite text  when necessary to make it easier for targeted readers to understand.


• Oversee writing workshops and book reviews.


• Make decisions regarding content and give suggestions.


• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all manuscripts and contents.


• Work with other team members in creating social media contents for the organization and her publications.


• Verify facts cited in materials for publication.


•  Write/edit external correspondence.


• Edit and develop alongside the customer service representative the organization's social media content.


• Speak with authors on their various manuscripts and give recommendation and advice before publication.


• Work with writers to help their ideas and stories succeed.


• Develop stories and content ideas according to the publication’s style and editorial policy.


• See to the proper documentation/safe keeping of all the company’s manuscript and books' soft copies.


• Any other work related tasks assigned by the management/HOD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Available to resume immediately.


• Male or Female.


• Must reside in Ibadan.


• Must be an English Language graduate (B.A or B.Ed.) A second degree is an added advantage.


• Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience as an Editor.


• Excellent writing and verbal skills.


• In-depth knowledge and understanding of grammar and the English Language.


• Must be thorough and pay attention to detail.


• Must be a team player.

Must be able to work with little supervision..11. Must be able to effectively work with team members in the department.

SALARY:

₦90,000- ₦100,000 (depending on experience)
