We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
They should possess exceptional clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
The Person
Minimum academic qualification of a Nurse Anaesthetist
2-3 years and above relevant work experience in the health sector.
Possession of BLS and ACLS training certificate is an added advantage
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must be licensed to practice as Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Anaesthetist
Possess high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
Knowledge of Infection control practices.
Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
