Role Summary:


Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, Preparation of Final Accounts, Maintenance & reconciliation of all TB schedules, Monthly Fixed Asset Register Management, Monthly Inventory count & reconciliation, Complete Trial Balance reconciliation monthly, Regulatory Financial Reporting, Revenue, Cost of Sale Accounting, Receivables & Payables Schedules maintenance & reconciliation, Aging schedules maintenance, design & implementation of process controls around assets, Preparation of Financial Reports as required.   


Roles/Responsibilities



  • Monthly Account Preparation

  • Monthly Inventory Count & Reconciliation

  • Fixed Asset Register Maintenance & Reconciliation

  • Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

  • Overall Management of the TB ensuring accuracy, schedules & completeness of all backing documentation

  • Annual Financial Statement preparation

  • Process operations to ensure completeness of transaction audit trails & relevant documentation

  • Receivables & Payables Accounting & Reconciliation


Knowledge/Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or economics

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in core audit function in Audit practice

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (both theoretical & practical) with financial statement preparation

  • Membership of relevant professional institute like ICAN or ACCA

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience with Sage or any ERP is a plus
