Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components


• Analyze electrical schematics & requirements


• Resolve complex engineering issues related to avionic electrical systems, subsystems, power distribution, and develop associated configuration documentation


• Create electrical schematic designs of routed systems, including wiring


• Lay out circuits and install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various parts of the plant, run lines, make connections, install proper safety devices and provide for necessary outlets and switches


• As part of the general Maintenance team, you will typically become involved in fault finding and fixing, pre-planned maintenance work, and small improvement projects


• A strong team focus, you will enjoy working as part of a team but also working independently as required


• Utilize a variety of hand tools


• Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of all manufacturing and facility equipment on a daily basis


• Actively minimize plant and equipment downtime in support of production by responding quickly to breakdown situations when applicable

Qualifications for mechanical / electrical

• Experience of delivering H& S by design


• Experience of working within a team of mechanical engineers


• Ideally experience in electrical engineering concepts


• Experience of world class quality systems


• Bachelor’s Degree with five years of related experience, or


• Associate’s Degree with nine years of related experience.
