Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural/Design activities which includes leading and develop the team from early concept to design development.


• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for residential, commercial industrial and other building types.


• You shall consult with clients to determine their requirements


• Responsible for the completion of projects by planning, organizing and controlling design and execution; completing quality inspections, supervising sub-contractors and staff.


• You shall ensure that the contractor puts in place appropriate safety measures, site rules and welfare facilities.


• Responsible for coordinating all activities relate to the scope of your duties and responsibilities.


• You shall be responsible for the technicalities in all matters related to your field as a qualified architect, which includes but not limited to the use of your practicing license and seal


• You shall always represent the company at various stakeholder meetings and, protect the interest of the company.


• You shall provide advisory and implementation assistance within the scope of your duties and responsibilities


• You shall undertake and exercise such powers in relation to the business as well as perform all other acts and things in the ordinary course, which are considered reasonably necessary and proper in the interests of the business and in the discharge of such duties


• You shall be guided by best practices and standards, explore the technology landscape to evaluate alternative solutions to meet or exceed business functional and non-functional needs


• You shall collaborate with business stakeholders to understand long & short term business needs, facilitating cross stakeholder conversations to arrive at consensus as required


• You shall be aligned with business needs, to drive the implementation and use of enterprise architecture, shared platforms, common components and technologies, including creation of proofs of concept where required


• Create, maintain and socialize solution roadmaps to stakeholders, ensuring an alignment with delivery plans and other key business strategies, in order to maintain agility, autonomy and delivery timeframes


• Monitor the delivery of architecture to ensure appropriate alignment to architectural strategy, and adjust as required to deliver best overall business value


• Define vision, missions, values and strategies for the architectural team and be up to date with latest industry trends to promote growth in the company’s business strategy


• Lay the foundations of, and drive towards, a high performing architectural team


• Be adaptable to, and welcoming the opportunities of, change: including changes to external best practices, standards and approaches, internal business strategies, priorities and processes, and delivery plans


• Ensure strong architectural best-practice knowledge through continuing personal development and development of the core team within the company


• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports or as required by Management


• Performance of any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.


• 3-5 years of experience as an Architect


• Strong knowledge of Architecture


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
