Ensured prompt procurement of high-quality materials for production use and office, in line with the company’s procurement policies.
Ensures purchase orders are executed promptly as required to foster uninterrupted operations.
Conducts market research to gather information on current prices and price movement for critical inputs, and advise on pricing and buying strategies.
Follow-up with store or warehouse officers to maintain optimum inventory stock levels by reducing material and cost wastages due to overstocking and expiration of materials.
Prepares weekly and monthly report on procurement activities.
Maintain good supplier relations and negotiated contracts
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, purchasing software and tally.
Good knowledge of procurement practice and principle
