  • We are looking for dedicated Protection Case Workers to support vulnerable individuals and families affected by conflict and displacement in Mubi North and South, Adamawa State.

  • The successful candidates will play a vital role in delivering protection services and ensuring the well-being of beneficiaries.


Key Responsibilities

Case Management:



  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual and family needs, including protection risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and implement case management plans tailored to the specific needs of beneficiaries.

  • Provide direct support and counseling to beneficiaries, including psychosocial support and referrals to relevant services.


Advocacy and Referral:



  • Advocate for the rights and needs of beneficiaries within the community and with relevant stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain effective referral networks with local service providers and organizations.

  • Facilitate referrals for beneficiaries to access essential services such as healthcare, legal assistance, and shelter.


Community Outreach and Awareness:



  • Conduct community outreach activities to raise awareness of protection issues and available services.

  • Provide training and capacity-building sessions for community members and stakeholders on protection-related topics.

  • Foster community participation and engagement in protection activities and initiatives.


Documentation and Reporting:



  • Maintain accurate and confidential case files for beneficiaries, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and in compliance with organizational standards. - Prepare regular reports on case management activities, including progress updates and challenges encountered.

  • Contribute to the development of donor reports and proposals as required.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.

  • 2 - 3 years work experience.

  • Proven experience working in protection, humanitarian, or social services contexts.

  • Strong understanding of protection principles, including child protection and gender-based violence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.

  • Fluency in English and local languages spoken in Adamawa State is required.
