Summary



  • The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 number of hours per week)

  • Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties



  • The Supply Clerk (Receiving) manages the receiving, tracking, inspection, distribution and inventory of property management services for the Department of State and associated agencies. 

  • The position is in the General Services Office and under the supervision of the GSO Deputy Warehouse Supervisor.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:



  • Experience: Two (2) years of supply related experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management is required.

  • Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School is required. 

  • Evaluations: This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.

  • Language: Good working knowledge in speaking/reading/writing of English is required.


Job Knowledge:  



  • Must have good understanding of supply chain management and warehouse operations to include receiving, inspecting, tracking, storing and issuing of supplies. 

  • Must have good knowledge of computerized inventory and stock control data programs.


Skills and Abilities: 



  • Computer competencies including basic skills in Microsoft Office Applications, and related software is required. 

  • Basic math skills is required. Must be able to lift a maximum of 51lbs (23kg). 

  • Working knowledge of inventory management tools such as handheld scanners and software is required.

Agency Benefits:
