Job Summary



  • The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall strategic management and operational oversight of our facility. He shall ensure a safe, secure, functional, and cost-effective environment that supports the needs of our employees and operations.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management plans, including budgets, and maintenance schedules.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including:

    • Maintenance: Preventive maintenance, repairs, renovations, and space management.

    • Safety and Security:Fire safety, access control, emergency preparedness, and compliance with regulations.

    • Sustainability: Implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

    • Cleaning and janitorial services: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for occupants.

    • Contractors and vendors: Manage relationships with vendors and oversee their work performance.



  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.

  • Prepare and manage facilities-related budgets, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for savings.

  • Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facilities operations.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Electrical Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.

  • Track record of success in managing and maintaining facilities.

  • Strong understanding of facility maintenance, including building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

  • Excellent knowledge of relevant safety and security regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
