The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall strategic management and operational oversight of our facility. He shall ensure a safe, secure, functional, and cost-effective environment that supports the needs of our employees and operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management plans, including budgets, and maintenance schedules.
Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including:
Maintenance: Preventive maintenance, repairs, renovations, and space management.
Safety and Security:Fire safety, access control, emergency preparedness, and compliance with regulations.
Sustainability: Implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Cleaning and janitorial services: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for occupants.
Contractors and vendors: Manage relationships with vendors and oversee their work performance.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.
Prepare and manage facilities-related budgets, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for savings.
Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facilities operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Electrical Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
Track record of success in managing and maintaining facilities.
Strong understanding of facility maintenance, including building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Excellent knowledge of relevant safety and security regulations.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
