Key Responsibilities:



  • Preparation of duly approved account opening correspondence for registered clients onboarding on the banking platform

  • Prompt settlement of all Fixed Income trades on the settlement platform

  • Ensuring all transactions are processed within cut-off time accurately, efficiently while exercising due diligence

  • Daily reconciliation of trade settlements and related transactions

  • Timely investigation and rectification of pending or unsettled transactions. Constant review of processes, procedures, and systems for improvement.

  • Management of failed and late settled transactions

  • Weekly data analysis of transactions status done via the app for management assessment

  • Following up with banks and clients for any mismatched instruction and delayed trade settlement.

  • Responding to client’s/bank’s queries.

  • Following up with banks for pending {not settled} trades.

  • Processing of Treasury Bills and Bond Transactions

  • Fixed Deposit investment processing


Requirements



  • First degree preferably in Accounting or Finance

  • At least 7 years’ experience in a similar function for an asset management business

  • Strong proficiency in the use of relevant line of business solutions and MS Excel tools

  • Deep understanding of various capital market instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.

  • Able to analyze the risk-return profiles of different asset classes and their suitability for specific portfolios.

  • Proficiency in calculating asset types, including derivatives and structured products.

  • Expertise in handling intricate trade charges and expenses for accurate portfolio accounting.

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including ratio analysis, cash flow projections, and risk assessments.

  • Ability to lead an investment operations team and to think and act independently.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Quick learner, comfortable dealing with ambiguous and fluid situations

  • Independent, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Superior analytical & critical thinking skills; ability to make good decisions when faced with complex data

  • High level of passion, integrity, creativity, inquisitiveness and self confidence
