Job Description:

The successful candidate will maintain the 33KV Power System /Switchyard /Transformers /Cable routes with minimum breakdown.

• Will maintain the Power Transformers.


• Will troubleshoot any kind of breakdown/failure/problem found.


• Will maintain all the Power Transformers with safety protections/systems.


• Will check/maintain the health of the Transformers at regular intervals.


• Maintain/troubleshoot the Control Panels of the Outdoor/Indoor HT Breakers.


• Maintain and troubleshoot the 33KV Indoor/Outdoor Breakers for the entire Plant.


• Will maintain the cable route and troubleshoot any kind of problem found in the HV cables.


• Will maintain/troubleshoot any kind of problem observed in the field equipment.


• Maintain the Area Lighting of the Plant with suitable actions.


• Follow the safety for all kinds of planned/shutdown/breakdown jobs.


• Will co-ordinate with user departments and the HT line supply agency for smooth running of the Plant.


• Ensure preventive maintenance planning and implementation.


• Responsible for scheduled/Planned Electrical maintenance.


• To look after the ISO schedules/formats regularly.


• Will look after the Planning, Issue, and storage of critical spares.


• Will prepare/repair the spares which can be used during any breakdown/shutdown.


• To list out the shutdown/modification/upgrade jobs regularly.


• Material planning for the planned shutdowns concerning planned jobs.


• Ensure minimum stock Inventory for spares and consumables.


• Lead the team for any kind of preventive / breakdown/ shutdown jobs.


• Maintain and update the logbook of his shift.


• Implement SOPs as per company standards.


• Ensure PPE usage & housekeeping.


• Train & guide his team on routine repairs, and maintenance schedule planning.


• To perform additional tasks as required by the reporting Manager.

Requirements

• HND or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering.


• Minimum of 4Years 33KV switchyard Erection /commissioning & testing experience


• Must have worked in a Power Generation Company


• Problem-solving abilities


• Attention to detail


• Strong organizational and communication skills.
